Doctor Faustus

By Christopher Marlowe
Adapted by Jennifer Dick

Go bear these tidings to great Lucifer.
Say I surrender up to him my soul.

Doctor Faustus wants more. He’s celebrated and successful but it’s not enough. He’s been flirting with the occult and one night conjures up the fallen angel, Mephistopeles, the servant of Lucifer. Mephistopheles offers a bargain. Everything Faustus could ever want, for the period of twenty-four years. The price? His immortal soul.

Faustus signs the deal and sets out on his adventures.

Marlowe’s epic drama, adapted for three actors, plays out in the intimate surroundings of the Kibble Palace Glasshouse. Jennifer Dick directs this new production of her mash-hit adaptation, which asks the ultimate question:

What is the price of your soul?
