“Truly severed in me are the twin provinces of good and ill. I come to believe that this is the dual nature of man and the hard truth of our condition: Man is not truly one, but two.

But, oh… the horror of my other self.”

Gabriel Utterson is worried about her dear friend, Henry Jekyll. He doesn’t seem to be at all himself. And now he’s changed his will and left everything he owns to the enigmatic Edward Hyde.

Mr Hyde is an unsettling creature. There’s something abnormal and misbegotten in his very essence. Something utterly wicked.

Gabriel has to investigate. She must help her friend. How can she know what terrors are concealed behind Dr Jekyll’s upright façade? And what a deadly game she is about to play?

Bard in the Botanics presents a gripping new version of Stevenson’s iconic thriller, performed by a cast of three in the intimate surroundings of the Kibble Palace glasshouse.

Come and see it. We dare you…
